I decided to start collecting Girder & Panel and Bridge sets and wanted to learn more about all the sets that were made. Since then I have found dozens of different sets made by 5 different companies. The sets date back to to 1956 and were made in one way or another up until 1996 and are now being manufactured again, starting in late 2005.

I myself had one of these sets as a child and I remembered how much fun I had with it. I wanted to buy one of these sets for my son but they were no where to be found. I checked all the local Toy Stores and even called around to some of the larger Toy manufacturers. At first I found erector sets which I also remember having as a kid but that still wasn't what I remembered and it just wasn't the same.

FINALLY I found one of an old 72070 Kenner Bridge & Highway set from the early 70's. It wasn't the exact set I had as a child but it was defiantly the same type of set.

After several weeks of searching I finally found the set I had as a child, (Set #72110 KENSTRUCT Interstate Highway Set.)

I purchased the KenStuct Interstate Highway set for my son and we had a blast with it.
