I ship to the US, US Territories & Canada ONLY
Prices quoted are for domestic ground shipping costs within the continental USA.
Domestic Shipping (Continental USA)
I ship all domestic shipments via UPS Ground or the US Postal Service Parcel Post or Priority Mail (Whichever is the most economical). Domestic shipping costs include shipping and handling, insurance for the value of the item and free tracking and delivery confirmation. In the event an item is lost or damaged I will refund you the amount of the item or damages only after receiving such funds from the insurance claim.
You may elect to chose expedited preparation of your set and 2-Day shipping for an additional $20 per set or 3-Day shipping for an additional $10 per set by adding additional funds to your shopping cart.
Additional Shipping (Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and Canada)
I ship all shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and Canada via the US Postal Service Air Mail for an additional $10 per item. Additional Shipping costs include Shipping & handling, and insurance for the value of the item. Tracking and Delivery confirmation are not available outside the US and thus will not be provided.
If you would like sets shipped to any of these locations please go to Additional Shipping and click "Add to Cart" then select the amount of items your are shipping to add the additional needed shipping costs to your order. Please note that shipping times to destinations outside of the continental USA may increase. In the event an item is lost or damaged I will refund you the amount of the item or damages only after receiving such funds from the insurance claim.
For any set that I do not currently have in stock I would be willing to search for one on your behalf. To start the search I require a deposit. This deposit is only refundable if I am unable to find you a set within 60 days from the date of receipt of your deposit or longer if specified for certain sets. No refunds will be made for buyers that change their minds or find a set elsewhere. If I am unable to find a suitable set for you within the 60 days (or longer period as specified) I will contact you and offer you to either have a refund minus $20 service charge or you can choose to wait longer for me to find you a suitable set (at your option). Please keep in mind that the prices listed for Finder Service items are estimates based on what I have purchased and sold each set for in the past, these prices are NOT firm and purchase at these prices is NOT guaranteed. The Price listed may need to be adjusted due to demand and availability of sets an any particular time. In the event I find a set but the price is going to be more than the price I listed the item for but within $40 I will purchase the set for you anyway and will simply add the additional price to your remaining balance. In the event I find a set for you but the price will be substantially more ($41 or more higher) than the price I listed then I will contact you via email to ask you if you would like that set for an additional cost or if I should just keep looking for another set. Sets tend to cost significantly more around the Christmas holiday season due to increased demand, please expect somewhat inflated costs around this time of year as a result, I have no control over this.
Product Info:
Sets sold on this site are NOT new, they have been purchased and refurbished to the best of my ability. Every effort is made to restore the set to as close as possible to the condition the set originally sold in. These sets are vintage collectors items. Some parts may not be suitable for play, parts may be brittle and may break when used due to the age of the parts. Original parts may have been replaced and or repaired and pieces that make up any particular set may have derived from other sets in an effort to complete the set for you. Sets are not always 100% complete, pieces are not always in perfect condition, some parts may be broken, aged, cracked, discolored or otherwise altered from their original condition. Unfortunately I am not mechanically inclined nor an electrician so mechanical motors, pumps, skycars etc. are not tested nor repaired but will be included whenever present.. I refurbish only the actual Girders & Panel Pieces and their boxes not auxiliary parts such as paper/plastic signs etc.. Girder & Panel and Bridge & Turnpike Heaven is NOT a business, it's a hobby for a dedicated collector. Any profits earned from the sale of sets on this site are used to further my hobby. Please understand that since this is a hobby not a job my time is limited and replies may not always be immediate. I make every effort to try to make those that purchase my sets as happy as possible, I put a lot of work and effort into the sets I refurbish and I have great pride in helping to keep these great sets alive for future generations.
